STAR Chapter 123 is led by a dedicated and committed group of Chapter Officers. Our chapter prides itself on running smoothly, and providing a great experience for our members and guests. The hard work of our chapter officers, under the leadership of our long-standing President, Don Davis, is what makes STAR 123 what it is.
Stephen Thompson – President
As President, Steve is a National Officer of STAR Touring and Riding Association and represents STAR Touring and Riding in a positive and professional manner. The President shall insure compliance of the STAR Charter by all members. He exercises general supervision over the members of the Chapter, the Chapter’s Board of Trustees, and the affairs of the Chapter. Don has the authority to make day-to-day decisions concerning the operations of the Chapter and report those decisions to the membership. He maintains a working relationship with all supporting dealerships, and represents the Chapter in any involvements with other riding groups and organizations. Steveis the point of contact for all members in communicating with STAR International, i.e., National President and National Officers.
Scott Sandefur – Vice President
As Vice President, Scott will stand in for and hold the responsibilities of the President in his absence. He works with all committee chairs to coordinate and inform the board of committee progress. Scott works with the President, as directed, as a liaison with any supporting dealerships, and represents the Chapter and STAR Touring and Riding in a positive and professional manner.
Yosi Boublil – Sergeant-at-Arms / Lead Tail GunnerAs Sergeant-at-Arms, Yosi will be present at all meetings to keep and maintain order. He is responsible for making sure that all Ride Waivers are signed prior to any ride; and takes responsibility for the Ride Waivers during all rides. Yosi enforces the Charter and Bylaws as written, is responsible for keeping the banner and making sure it is hung at all meetings and events, and represents the Chapter and STAR Touring and Riding in a positive and professional manner.
Donna Martin – Secretary
As Secretary, Donna keeps minutes of all meetings; including Officer meetings, Board of Trustee meetings, and general membership meetings. She is responsible for making sure that all members have signed a waiver for the current year. Donna makes all general nmembership meeting minutes available to members of the Chapter, State Directors, and Regional Directors, ad represents the Chapter and STAR Touring and Riding in a positive and professional manner.
Holly Sandefur – Treasurer
As Treasurer, Holly maintains a bookkeeping system for the funds of the Chapter, and makes available a financial report to the Board of Trustees at any board meeting and to the membership at each general meeting. She oversees all sales of merchandise, i.e. t-shirts, patches etc. and places all orders and collects all monies for items purchased from the STAR Touring and Riding International office, i.e. back patches, rockers, both the large rocker, and any small rocker. Holly coordinates and collects funds during all raffles, and represents the Chapter and STAR Touring and Riding in a positive and professional manner.
Judy Davis – LOS Representative
As Ladies of the STAR (LOS) Representative, Judy works to make all women, either rider or passenger, feel welcome as a member of the Chapter. She coordinates with the National LOS Director for support, and works within the Chapter to help advance the image of women in motorcycling. The LOS Representative is the publicity representative and will represent all women riders and enthusiasts to all local media and in general handle all communications pertaining to the LOS Chapter membership as directed by the President, and represents the Chapter and STAR Touring and Riding in a positive and professional manner.
Jim Martin – STAR Vet Rep / Co-Director Shepherd Program
As our STAR Vet Rep it is Jim’s job to encourage all veterans to join STAR Vets. He works to bring information to the Chapter on Veterans’ events, and encourages participation in parades, stand-downs, and other functions that are made to honor all of our Veterans past and present. He is the publicity representative and will represent all STAR Vet riders and enthusiasts to all local media and in general handle all communications pertaining to the STAR Vet Chapter membership, and represents the Chapter and STAR Touring and Riding in a positive and professional manner.
Greg Warfield – Ride Captain

Tim Vincent – Lead Tail Gunner
As Lead Tail Gunner, Tim rides in the back of the group and keeps an eye on the group, setting up opportunities for our group to safely ride in traffic. It is the duty of the Tail Gunner to stay with any bike that has dropped off the ride due to mechanical or personal problems so the group can safely continue. The Tail Gunner works closely with the Ride Captain to help control the group formation, and represents the Chapter and STAR Touring and Riding in a positive and professional manner.
Mike Hire – Co-Director Shepherd Program
As Shepherd Director, Mike oversees the Shepherds whose job it is to greet all new riders into the group. It is the responsibility of the Shepherds to explain to new or prospective members the STAR Touring and Riding Association’s mission statement, Charters, Bylaws, waivers and ride rules. It is also the Shepherd’s responsibility to make all new or prospective members feel welcome in the group. The Shepherd shall be paired up for the first ride to ensure that new or prospective members do not feel left out and understand the ride rules and formation. They should also be available to explain and/or answer questions regarding the Chapter or STAR Touring International, and represent the Chapter and STAR Touring and Riding in a positive and professional manner.
Pam Dickinson – Webmaster / Photographer
As Webmaster, Pam manages the content and development of our chapter Web site. She handles the graphic design of the site and works with the Web developer to add new functionality and technical updates. She provides training and support to our appointed site contributors and manages the ongoing hosting of our site. Pam relies on all chapter members for content and photos to keep our site current and interactive.

Julie Vincent – Newsletter Publisher
As Newsletter Publisher Julie works closely with all members to capture the news of the chapter and write and distribute the chapter newsletter monthly. She keeps her finger on and publishes important dates, like birthdays, anniversaries, upcoming chapter events and key contact information for chapter members. Julie writes reviews of rides and events, interviews members for feature profiles, and works closely with everyone to share our chapter stories and photos.
